A clean scalp. Hair you can run a comb through. A shower that doesn’t take the whole evening. Everyday hair care can ask for more time and effort than you have to give.

Sometimes it’s an itchy scalp after washing. Sometimes it’s rough lengths and knots if you skip conditioner. And sometimes the hardest part is finding the energy for another round of applying, waiting and rinsing.

A routine only works if it fits the day you’re actually having.

FOUNDER NOTE

Why we’re building this.

I kept wondering why washing my hair had become such a long routine.

Shampoo alone could leave my hair tangled, but using conditioner, masks and other products every time meant spending much longer washing and rinsing. The full routine worked only when I had the patience to do it.

I wanted something simpler: a wash that cleans properly, leaves hair easier to manage, and makes the routine easier to keep up with.

That question became the starting point for Velune.
